Pauline Margaret Rhymes passed away peacefully on the 28th August 2009 aged 68 years. A loving wife to John who were together for 50 glorious years, a wonderful mum to Lesley, Louise, Sally and Jason and a treasured nana and great nana.

Our mum Pauline was a very beautiful person, she was loved by many many people and a very popular lady, always happy and smiling. Mum loved to go out socialising and was a keen member of the local bowls team and won numerous medals, and will be sadly missed at the club.

Mum loved holidays and travelled to places as far as Australia, she enjoyed luxury cruises and exotic holidays in the Maldives, mum had a very full life. We all miss her terribly but mum always taught us to fight on and we are doing mum the best we can, we love you so much x

Taken from us too soon and so suddenly, reunited with daughters Lorraine and Lesley and Grandaughter Stacey safe in each others arms until we all meet again x GOD BLESS RIP x

Christmas Without You

Christmas without you here with us,
can never possibly be the same.
But I carry an Angel within my heart;
one so precious, who has your name.

An Angel forever watching over me,
at Christmas time, and over the year.
Although you can't be here anymore,
inside my heart, you are so very near.

There is no special present for you,
wrapped up under my Christmas tree.
But I have a greater gift to give to you;
all the love you can still feel from me.

No, Christmas time without you here,
could not ever possibly be the same.
But, I have had the precious gift of you,
and the memories and love, will remain ♥

I see the countless Christmas trees around the world below
With tiny lights, like Heaven's stars, reflecting on the snow
The sight is so spectacular, please wipe away the tear
For I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.

I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear
But the sounds of music can't compare with the Christmas
choir up here. I have no words to tell you, the joy their voices
bring. For it is beyond description, to hear the angels sing.

I know how much you miss me, I see the pain inside your heart
But I am not so far away, We really aren't apart.
So be happy for me, dear ones, You know I hold you dear.
And be glad I'm spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.

I sent you each a special gift, from my heavenly home above.
I sent you each a memory of my undying love.
After all, love is a gift more precious than pure gold.
It was always most important in the stories Jesus told.

Please love and keep each other, as my Father said to do.
For I can't count the blessing or love he has for each of you.
So have a Merry Christmas and wipe away that tear
Remember, I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ
this year.

If flowers grow in heaven Lord, then pick a bunch for me, place them in my mothers arms and tell her they're from me. Tell her that I love and miss her, and when She turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while Love you mum xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Happy Birthday Mum

Happy Birthday Mum"
It's sure to be the best one yet,
Though you left me here behind
Did you think that I'd forget?

Your cake this year, will surely be,
A beauty to behold.
With the icing made of Silver,
And the candles made of Gold.

Yes your birthday in Heaven,
Will be such a grand affair.
And I know you'll look so lovely,
With a halo in your hair.

The Angels will come from everywhere,
To sing your birthday song.
And I know they'll be so happy,
That you've joined, God's Happy Throng.

No I can't send a card this year,
Or give a gift so fine.
So I'll just send a special prayer,
To that wonderful Mother of mine.

xXx All my Love xXx

Mothers Day

Another Mother's Day is here,

Bringing joy and pleasures new,

On this special day, Mother dear,

I want to remember you.

I cannot give you costly gifts,

And I've told you this before,

No matter what I give to you,

You give back much, much more.

I'm giving you a pure, sweet rose,

Gathered in the early morn,

This rose you planted in my heart,

The day that I was born.

In kindly, loving thoughts of you,

And with the faith you still impart,

The rose I give to you today,

Is the love that's in my heart.

Happy Mothers Day in heaven Mum I Love and miss you xxx

Christmas in Heaven

I see the countless Christmas trees around the world below
with tiny lights like Heavens stars reflecting on the snow.

The sight is so spectacular please wipe away that tear
for I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.

I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear
but the sound of music can't compare with the Christmas choir up here.

I have no words to tell you of the JOY their voices bring
for it is beyond description to hear the angels sing.

I know how much you miss me, I see the pain inside your heart
for I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.

I can't tell you of the splendor or the peace here in this place
Can you just imagine Christmas with our Savior face to face

I'll ask him to lift your spirit as I tell him of your love
so then pray for one another as you lift your eyes above.

Please let your hearts be joyful and let your spirit sing
for I am spending Christmas in Heaven and I’m walking with the King.

A mum is one of life's best gifts,
Someone to treasure all life through,
She's caring and loving,
Thoughtful and true,
Someone who is always a special part of your life,
Someone who holds a prime place in your heart,
She's a mentor, a confident and also a friend,
Someone on whose love you can depend.
A mum always has your best interests at heart,
She's someone so dear and so good,
She's a blessing, she's a gift,
She's a treasure like no other,
She's someone that is truly wonderful.
Wherever you go, and whatever you do,
A mum’s love will always see you through,
A mum is truly invaluable,
Indispensable and unforgettable.
I wouldn't want anyone but you,
And that's why I'm so grateful,
that life picked you for me.

Love you always and forever Mum xxx

The Rose beyond the wall

A rose once grew
where all could see,
sheltered beside
a garden wall,
And as the days passed
swiftly by,
it spread its branches, straight and tall...

One day, a beam of light
shone through
a crevice that had
opened wide ~
The rose bent gently
toward its warmth
then passed beyond
to the other side

Now, you who deeply
feel its loss,
be comforted ~ the rose blooms there ~
its beauty even greater now,
nurtured by
God's own loving care.

Love you always Mum xxxxxxxxxxxx

Mothers Love

Theres nothing like a daughter
Or a mothers love
No one can ever take that
Not even him above
She may not be here with you
Or on the phone each day
But that doesnt stop you thinking
Or loving her in every way
Your memories they cant be stolen
Your grief you can not hide
But what you must remember
Is shes always by your side
You know she,d never leave you
The bond you have so strong
Even though you didnt seem
To always get along
That tie can not be severed
Or the maternal link undone
For no one can replace her
There is but only one
